Tastings

Get a taste before you book

Cake tastings / consultations are available for weddings and large celebrations cakes. These are held at my studio in West London where you can sample 6-8 of my signature flavours with a glass of something cold or a cup of tea and discuss at length your vision for your cake.  There is a charge of £45 per tasting consultation but this is deducted from from your invoice should you go ahead with me.

My wedding process

Planning your wedding is a wonderful and exciting time and ordering your wedding cake is a big part of that. I really like to get to know my couples in person to fully understand what you want in terms of design and flavour. I really believe that your cake is a centerpiece and should taste as amazing as it looks.

1. Enquire

Before we start discussing your wedding cake please contact me to check I am available for your wedding date. Once we know I am I shall send you a questionnaire to fill in to give me more insight into the style of your wedding and the size of the cake you would like.

2. Consultation and Tasting

I really believe in meeting my couples to get to know them. I feel this really helps with the design process. I prefer to do consultations in person in my studio in West London, however I do understand that this isn’t always possible so do offer postal tasting boxes and arrange either a zoom or telephone call to discuss flavours etc.

During the consultation you will taste 6-8 signature flavours and we will discuss size, style, design, set up and styling for your cake at the your venue, prices and any special requests.

3. Proposal and booking

After the consultation, I will send you the digital designs discussed along with the prices. To book a 50% non-refundable deposit is required within one week of booking to secure your date. Final payment is due 4 weeks before the wedding date.

4. Continued contact

I will stay in contact with you throughout the process and one week prior to your wedding I’ll confirm everything with the venue, wedding co-ordinator and florist.

5. Delivery and setup

On the day I will arrive ahead of time to set up your cake and make any final preparations.

Wedding Cake Pricing

All my wedding cakes are bespoke and designed with each individual couple. Pricing will be determined by the size and design of the cake.

FAQs

  • For wedding cakes, it is advisable to provide as much notice as possible. As soon as you have chosen your date, please check my availability.

    When it comes to celebration cakes, it is recommended to provide a minimum of two weeks' notice as there is a lot of intricate design work involved.

  • Yes, I do offer options for dietary requirements. However, please note that my work environment involves the use of gluten, dairy, eggs, and nuts.

  • In short, no. I can use another artist's work as inspiration, but I will always ask for the designer's details so that I can credit them on social media.

  • Yes, I provide delivery and setup services for all wedding cakes. The cost for this service will be discussed during your consultation.

    For smaller cakes, I use a cake courier service, and the delivery charges will be discussed when placing your order. While I primarily deliver in London and its surrounding areas, I can also arrange delivery to other locations upon discussion of the associated cost during the cake booking process.

  • Certainly! Collection is available from my studio in West London. All cakes will be securely boxed for transportation.

  • I have a range of stands and plinths available for hire at a cost of £15 - £25, along with a holding damage deposit of £50-£100 (equivalent to the cost of a replacement). The damage deposit will be returned once the items are received back undamaged and in a clean state at my studio.

  • Please refer to my Terms of sale, which outline the specific cancellation policy.
