FAQs

  • My calendar fills up quickly, especially during peak wedding season, so I recommend securing your date as early as possible. I take on a limited number of commissions each year to ensure every cake receives my full attention. Once you’ve confirmed your wedding date, please get in touch to check my availability.

  • I do offer options for certain dietary requirements; however, my kitchen handles gluten, dairy, eggs, and nuts. If you or your guests have severe allergies, please let me know during the consultation so we can discuss the best approach.

  • In short, no. I believe every couple deserves a cake that is completely unique to them. While I’m happy to take inspiration from designs you love, I won’t directly copy another artist’s work. If you provide reference images, I will credit the original designer and use the inspiration to create something bespoke for you. But the best cakes come when couples trust me with creative freedom to design something truly personal.

  • Yes, I have a selection of cake stands and plinths available to hire for £15 - £25, plus a refundable damage deposit of £50 - £100 (equivalent to the replacement cost). The deposit will be refunded once the items are returned clean and undamaged.

  • Yes, I personally deliver and set up all wedding cakes to ensure they arrive safely and look perfect on the day. Delivery costs will be discussed during your consultation. For smaller cakes, I use a specialist cake courier service, and delivery charges will be confirmed when placing your order. I primarily deliver within London and surrounding areas, but I can also arrange nationwide delivery on request.

  • Yes, collection is available from my West London studio. Cakes will be securely boxed for transport, and I will provide guidance on how to handle them safely. Once a cake leaves my studio, I am not responsible for any damage incurred during transit.

  • The initial deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances, as this covers consultation time and the loss of other potential bookings for your date. If, in the unlikely event, I need to cancel due to circumstances beyond my control (such as illness or fire), any payments made will be fully refunded.

Please refer to my Terms of sale, which outline the specific cancellation policy.

  • To secure your booking, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required within one week of receiving your proposal. Without this, your date will not be held, and priority will be given to another booking. The final balance is due four weeks before your wedding. If the final payment isn’t received by the deadline, your cake will not be made.
